HeirloomOS

Terms of Service

Effective date: August 18, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern use of HeirloomOS (the "Service"), operated by Heirloom Vine Institute ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the organization you represent.

1. The Service

HeirloomOS is a subscription software platform that provides organizations with workspaces for membership, learning, operations, governance, and related functions. We may improve, add, or modify features over time. We will not materially reduce the core functionality of a plan you have paid for during a paid term.

2. Accounts and organizations

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for safeguarding your credentials, and for activity under your account. Organization administrators control membership of their organization within the Service and are responsible for authorizing the people they add.

3. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

Paid plans are billed per organization, in advance, on a monthly or annual cycle, through our payment processor (Stripe). You may cancel at any time; your plan remains active through the end of the paid period, and we do not charge again after cancellation. Unless required by law, fees already paid are not refundable, but if something has gone wrong on our side, contact us and we will make it right.

4. Your data

Content your organization enters into the Service belongs to your organization. You grant us only the rights needed to operate the Service (storing, processing, backing up, and displaying your content to the people your organization authorizes). You can export your data at any time using the export tools built into export tools. After account closure, we delete or irreversibly anonymize your content within 90 days, except where law requires longer retention.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to violate law, to infringe others' rights, to attempt unauthorized access to systems or data, to distribute malware, or to send unsolicited bulk communications. We may suspend accounts that endanger the Service or other customers, and will tell you why unless law prevents us.

6. Availability and support

We work to keep the Service available and backed up, but it is provided "as is" without warranty of uninterrupted or error free operation. Support is provided by email according to your plan.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will notify account administrators by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
